Ironman race coming to New York City!

Finally the day has come! The Ironman triathlon is coming to New York City. We have all heard of this race. It is the pinacle to our training and/or dream. We hear of people complete this race and we are amazed by their accomplishment. And how can't we! It is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and if as that isn't enough a 26.2 mile run ( yes! A full marathon). You must think the people who complete this race are either superhuman or weird. To be honest it's a little of both.

Now if you live in New York city like me and research about these races you will notice two things. 1) Florida, Miami, Texas, Hawaii, these places are all far! 2) $550-$575 registration fee! On top of all that training and torture I will put myself through on race day I need to pay for hotel, airfare, car rental, bike transport, food, and etc. AND dont forget the $600 for the race entry.

At this point you must be laughing. You have to... Because if you don't you will end up frastrated and pulling a muscle or getting a hernia. Selling my organs to pay for Ironman race entries doesn't sound too shabby after this. Btw in the middle of writing this I found out a little bit of information. Guess what? The NYC Ironman entry fee will be atleast $750-$1,000. Yes begin to laugh harder.

Drinking coffee: 2 bucks   Having a Starbucks frappucino: 5 bucks    Doing an Ironman in New York City: priceless (literally because you won't be able to pay it off!)
